Who's Behind Made Wavy?

Hey everyone, I’m Kara, the creator of Made Wavy - a small handmade jewellery business inspired by the natural waviness of the ocean and the Earth. I’m obsessed with the beach, the sun, the sea, surfing, nature and I’ve always loved anything creative - I remember making my friends vulva necklaces back in the day! Made Wavy started out as Beads By Bel in 2024 whilst I was living in South Australia, surrounded by the most welcoming and creative community who inspired me to share my art. Since then, my style has evolved a lot, so after many hours of brainstorming on the beaches of Indonesia at the end of 2025, I decided to rebrand to Made Wavy. Made Wavy takes inspiration from the nature that is all around, to craft perfectly imperfect pieces of jewellery. We aren’t just about the ocean, but about the Earth and the sky and the sounds that surround us everyday.
